Although not totally finished all it really needs is for the handlebars to be dressed. Not really the type of vehicle I was after for Josh, I really wanted a freestanding toy that he could push along.
Not the most imaginative of toys but perfect for Baby's First Car. The window makes it ideal to get his little fingers in and enjoy the feel of the wood.

Jaguar XJ6 the very beginning, first stages before glueing and final shaping.
Jaguar XJ6 with finish varnish added ( the picture doesn't do it justice the finish on the varnish actually looks much better on the finished article.)
Jaguar XJ6 complete with bumpers prior to varnishing.
Two views of my first Beetle.
This is a Tipper Truck I did for Josh for Christmas.
Two early views of Ragtop Beetle, still a long way to go.

A quick check to ensure that the bumpers fit OK.
Final pics of the finished Beetle after final sanding and many coats of wax. Now its off to Santa in time for Xmas with a new owner.
A little Jigsaw Rabbit I made for Josh for Christmas.
A pair of Baby's First Cars that were ordered for Christmas.
Probably the easiest built up car that I have made as it is made mainly with straight lines so no awkward contours like the Jaguar and Beetle.
Maple Leaf in English Cherry, unfortunately the wood wasn't quite dry, hence the nasty little crack.
